Maintenance Technician IIIThe Role:The Maintenance Technician III performs a variety of tasks and assignments including the maintenance and repair of production equipment and facility infrastructure. A key focus will be on equipment reliability, safety, troubleshooting, and process improvement projects.In this role you will:Repair blowers, vacuum pumps, augers, gas furnaces, hydraulic and pneumatic systemsTroubleshoot electrical components such as contactors, switches, relays, and controllersWalk the production line daily and look for abnormalities in the equipmentTroubleshoot production issues with support from the maintenance team and/or engineeringSupport the installation of new equipment, retrofitting of old equipment, and facility capital projects to help improve the manufacturing processEducate operators to improve day-to-day machine operations and update documents if neededOrder parts and build materials list to complete upcoming projectsWork as a team or independently as the tasks requireMaintain an organized and safe work area. Wear required Personal Protective Equipment. Safely perform duties and observe approved safety procedures.Be exposed to outdoor working conditions, and dusty or dirty environmentsOccasionally be on-call for a full week, including weekends and nights as part of the team rotationComplete miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the larger organization and production goalsTraits we believe will make a strong candidate:High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 3 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance TechExperience working on large industrial equipment like high-temperature furnaces, rotary piston vacuum pumps, powder transfer systems, etc.Electrical component knowledge to troubleshoot motor starters, relays, pressure switches, temp controllers, etc.Ability to read P&IDs, wiring schematics, and engineering drawingsBasic welding knowledge preferred.Candidate must be a permanent resident of the U.S. to comply with export control lawsWilling to adapt to changing responsibilities based on production prioritiesAble to identify areas to improve or create PM procedures to reduce equipment failuresExperience in working in an ISO 9001/14001/45001 and AS9100 environment is a plus.Able to climb stairs and ladders, and safely lift 50 lbsAble to pass pre-employment physical.Candidate must have the capacity to comply with the federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws.Some Flexibility in working schedule due to projects, breakdown situations, etc.Ability to exhibit our PACE Values, People and Teamwork, Accountability, Innovation, and Dedication to Excellence.Your success will be measured by:Maintaining a safe and healthful work environmentProactively responding to production issues and ability to prioritize tasks dailyUsing a high level of integrity towards the quality of the productDisplay of a range of skills to support the team and develop new ones.Being a team player and having an open, honest, and positive attitudeAbility to present new ideas to supervisionWork hours as needed to accomplish company and customer goalsWhy Work at Entegris:Lead.
