Residential Youth Counselor

Job Details Location: Andover, MA 01810; Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time; Salary Range: $21.00 Hourly. What does a Residential Counselor do? A Residential Counselor helps to provide direct care for our youth residents ages 14-22 in our homes in Methuen and Lawrence. Responsibilities include providing emotional and vocational support, recreational planning, activity coordination and adherence to a changing environment. Ideal Candidate Our ideal candidate is flexible, a great communicator, has sound decision making skills, experience working with youth and is dedicated to contributing to a positive learning environment. Full and part time positions are available. Schedule Overnight shift: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Tuesday through Saturday. Qualifications Minimum of High School Diploma required. Valid driver's license required. Experience in mental health setting with youth strongly preferred. Satisfactory CORI and EEC background checks. Ability to work nights and weekends.
