This position is uniquely designed for a remote work setting that enables you to manage your time effectively while connecting with clients from the comfort of your home or preferred workspace. As part of our team, you will benefit from a flexible schedule—working a minimum of 30 hours per week—and the option to conduct sessions via telemedicine or in person, depending on client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' mental health needs, strengths, and goals.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are rooted in evidence-based practices, focusing on each client's unique circumstances.

• Facilitate therapy sessions in individual, couple, family, and group formats, employing various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and family systems therapy.

• Utilize clinical documentation systems to maintain detailed records of client interactions, progress, and treatment adjustments.

• Regularly monitor and evaluate client progress through follow-up sessions and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.

• Provide age-appropriate assessments and interventions tailored to children, adolescents, adults, and families, particularly those dealing with prenatal substance exposure and related adoption issues.

• Lead parent support groups, offering education and encouragement to caregivers navigating the complexities of raising children with unique backgrounds.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population encompasses a broad demographic, including adults, adolescents, and families facing diverse challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and trauma. In particular, our center places a strong emphasis on serving families impacted by issues of placement and adoption, especially concerning children prenatally exposed to substances. By addressing these sensitive topics with compassion and expertise, you will help empower clients to navigate their experiences and foster healthy relationships.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Pennsylvania.
