Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (Indiana or eligible for reciprocity)
• Previous experience in a K-2 Special Education classroom preferred

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management abilities
• Passion for creating inclusive, supportive learning environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction to meet individual student goals in a small classroom setting
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and families to support student success
• Create engaging lesson plans incorporating both academic and social-emotional learning components
• Adapt instructional materials and strategies as needed to address different learning styles and abilities
• Track and report on student progress, maintaining clear and consistent documentation
