Neuroscience Account Manager (Psychiatry) - Baltimore, MD

Primary Responsibilities Execute and promote products aligned to sales strategy in the assigned territory. Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and product promotion direction. Analyze local market; develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize product use in territory. Maintain up-to-date product, disease, competitive, and market reimbursement knowledge. Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation (budgets/time) in territory. Use advanced selling and negotiation skills to communicate effectively with target audiences. Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels. Secure product access and reimbursement in institutional systems as needed. Manage travel and promotional budget. Complete required monitoring/reporting (expenses and call reporting) using approved systems. Maintain full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. Meet healthcare provider/customer facility/state/local credentialing requirements; complete ad-hoc projects. Education & Experience Requirements BS/BA with GPA > 3.0. Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical sales experience preferred (otherwise may be considered for “Associate”). Atypical antipsychotic and/or orphan drug experience preferred. Specialty experience in psychiatry, bipolar, depression, CNS, or pain management preferred. Reimbursement experience preferred. Existing relationships (or within 24 months) with psychiatrists and/or Community Mental Health Centers in territory preferred. Valid driver’s license; clean driving history. Must reside within territory geography; ability to travel (including overnights) and possible off-hours meetings.
