Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the treatment needs and personal goals of our patients dealing with substance use disorders.

• Develop customized treatment plans tailored to individual circumstances, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic interventions designed to support long-term recovery.

• Facilitate one-on-one counseling sessions where you will apply motivational interviewing techniques and cognitive-behavioral therapy to guide patients through their recovery process.

• Lead engaging group therapy sessions that foster community support amongst recovering individuals and encourage sharing of experiences.

• Work closely with a network of healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive care approach, including attending case consultations and team meetings to discuss patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary.

• Provide crisis intervention support, offering immediate assistance to patients experiencing substance-related emergencies.

• Educate both patients and their families about addiction, effective recovery strategies, available community resources, and coping mechanisms designed to aid in the recovery journey.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards to ensure the integrity of patient records.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with adults struggling with various substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution. A Master's degree is preferred.

• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Washington.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a genuine passion for helping individuals in recovery.

• Knowledge of and willingness to utilize evidence-based practices and modalities that support effective recovery.

Preferred Experience\n
