Sr Manager- Experience Design

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Senior Manager of Product Experience Design to lead design strategy across complex digital products and platforms. This role involves mentoring designer teams, aligning cross-functional stakeholders, and translating user needs and emerging technologies into human-centered solutions with measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

• Set and champion experience vision and design strategy across complex interconnected products and platforms
• Lead design activities from opportunity framing through prototyping, validation, and iterative release
• Influence product and technology strategy by translating user needs, business priorities, and technical constraints
• Lead and mentor a team of employee and contractor designers, optimizing resource mix and capabilities
• Advocate for responsible, inclusive, and human-centered AI experiences across Johnson & Johnson products

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in design or related field with 10+ years of UX/product design experience
• Portfolio demonstrating strategic design leadership, systems thinking, and measurable impact
• Proficiency in Figma and user research tools such as Maze
• Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, align stakeholders, and make effective trade-offs
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills
• Experience designing for healthcare, complex workflows, or regulated environments (preferred)
• Familiarity with AI-enabled or emerging technology experiences (preferred)

Compensation: $137,000 - $235,750 base
