As a Security Officer Armed Protective Patrol in Kansas City, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, staff, and visitors with exceptional service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders and applicable guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify access as directed, and document security-related events, observations, and/or incidents according to site procedures.
• Support emergency and medical response efforts by assisting with scene control, directing people during urgent situations, and communicating with supervisors, staff, and/or first responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
