Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a dynamic education location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this armed role, you will support a caring campus environment while bringing agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

Pay Rate: $22.66 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and/or critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting details to site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and help to support authorized entry procedures for the educational location.
• Perform assigned armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site instructions, maintaining professionalism, situational awareness, and detailed incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
