This full-time, on-site role is based in Brooklyn, NY, and provides a unique opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced medical practice that focuses on delivering high-quality care to our patients.

As a Hospitalist, you will play a vital role in managing patient care in the hospital setting, collaborating closely with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals. Your expertise will help us achieve our mission of providing exceptional medical services, while also allowing you to grow in a supportive environment dedicated to advancing your career in medicine.

 

Responsibilities

• Manage inpatient care for a diverse patient population
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans
• Coordinate with specialists and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient progress and treatment interventions accurately
• Educate patients and families on health management and prevention strategies
• Participate in hospital committees and quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain up-to-date medical knowledge and adhere to best practices
• Supervise and mentor medical students and residents as applicable

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
• Active medical license in the state of New York
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
• Strong clinical skills and ability to make critical decisions
• Effective communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams
• Compassionate approach to patient care
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Interest in continuing medical education and professional development

Schedule: 7a-7p, 7 on/7 off

No call requirement

Patient Census: 16-20 per day

Residents and house officers on-site

Full subspecialty support on-site

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
