Legal Assistant Regular Full-Time Full Service CO - Colorado Springs, Colorado Springs, CO, US 9 days ago Requisition ID: 5455 Salary Range: $21.00 To $21.00 Hourly Summary of Position The Legal Specialist is responsible for preparing case files for court hearings, entering court depositions including order entry, and completing actions on referrals from Staff Attorneys for court follow-up actions. This individual represents YoungWilliams and the State Agency by providing outstanding customer service and accurate follow-through actions for all inquiries and referrals. Essential Job Requirements Facilitatesefficientcourtactivityandlegalcasemanagementbyservingasinterface betweentheEstablishment,EnforcementandInterstateCaseManagers,Attorneys, Clerk of the District Court and Sheriff's Department Contactsnecessarypartiesasneededforcourtactivity Generatesalllegalpleadings Assistsattorneyswithcasemanagementtoensuretimelyandpropercase progression Ensuresnecessaryfederalandstateelementsareincludedinalllegalfilings Scheduleshearingsforattorneys Assistsattorneyincourtwhenneeded Providescustomerservicetochildsupportstaffandthecommunity Performsdataentryinthestatesystemasneeded Performsmiscellaneousdutiesrelatedtogeneralcasehandlinginallaspectsofthe legal system Regular and timely attendance Other duties as assigned Required Education High School graduate or GED; Associate's Degree preferred Required Experience Knowledge of federal and state child support policies and procedures One year experience with the judicial process involved in the enforcement and establishment of child support orders preferred Excellent customer service skills YoungWilliams offers a benefit package for our full time, regular employees.
