Role Description The Business Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Sewell, NJ, responsible for overseeing daily business operations and supporting the efficient delivery of landscaping and hardscaping services. Core duties include managing scheduling and project workflows, coordinating with clients, vendors, and crews, and monitoring budgets, invoices, and contract documentation. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, tracking key performance indicators, and assisting with basic financial reporting. The Business Manager will help refine business processes, support marketing and customer service initiatives, and ensure that the office and field teams have the resources needed to complete projects on time and within scope. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in business operations or office management, preferably in construction, landscaping, or related service industries. Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines. Proficiency with office software (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, scheduling tools) and comfort learning new systems for estimating, invoicing, and project tracking. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with clients, vendors, and internal teams. Basic understanding of budgeting, invoicing, and financial recordkeeping; experience supporting or working with accounting processes is a plus. Ability to work on-site in Sewell, NJ, and support both office and field operations as needed. Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
