This position is primarily remote, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of your home office while also participating in community outreach initiatives. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team virtually, engaging in weekly meetings and case consultations that uphold our clinic’s commitment to team-oriented care. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their individual needs, goals, and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapies, utilizing methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Monitor client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care and comprehensive support.

• Stay informed on the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatment to refine and enhance therapeutic approaches.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, participate in scheduled team meetings, and contribute to case consultations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Forte Psychotherapy, you will work primarily with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Your efforts will focus on identifying their specific challenges, providing targeted therapeutic interventions, and supporting their journey toward recovery. You will engage with a diverse population, including clients struggling with issues such as homelessness, refugee status, and the effects of domestic abuse, to help them achieve emotional and psychological well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
\n
