Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will be tasked with various responsibilities, including:

• Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and treatment goals.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Providing bilingual psychotherapy services in both Spanish and English to clients of all ages, including children, adolescents, and families.
\n
• Engaging clients in both short-term individual therapy and group sessions, focusing on interventions that promote personal growth and emotional well-being.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
\n
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and community resources to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

• Participating in ongoing training to enhance therapeutic skills and gain knowledge of current practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

To excel in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's Degree from an accredited graduate program in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a related field.

• An active and unrestricted LMFT license in New Jersey.
\n
• Proficiency in bilingual (Spanish and English) therapeutic communication skills—both written and verbal.
\n
• A minimum of two years of experience working in a mental health setting with diverse populations.
\n
• A strong understanding and respect for each family’s cultural and individual customs.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively connect with clients and staff from various cultural backgrounds.
\n
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly CBT, TF-CBT, or EMDR.
\n
• Ability to provide telehealth services in a HIPAA-compliant environment.
\n
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
\n
• The willingness to work flexible hours, including at least two evenings per week and one weekend day.

Preferred Experience\n

Candidates with additional specialization in areas such as trauma, grief, or perinatal mental health will be highly regarded. Experience working as an in-network provider for insurance panels is also a plus, as is familiarity with using Electronic Health Record (EHR) software and other digital tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with attractive benefits.
