Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
\n
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using a range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused CBT (TF-CBT), and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR).

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
\n
• Engage in regular supervision and case consultation with peers to ensure quality care and adherence to best practices.
\n
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities to stay current with the latest therapeutic techniques and interventions.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support for clients.
\n
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively to document client interactions and manage case files.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapists work with a diverse clientele, including children, adults, and families. Many of our clients face challenges related to trauma, emotional distress, LGBTQ+ issues, perinatal mental health, and grief and loss. As an LMFT, you will be tasked with providing culturally competent care that aligns with the unique backgrounds and experiences of the families we serve.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or Marriage and Family Studies from an accredited program.

• Possession of an active, unrestricted LMFT license.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in both English and Spanish for bilingual psychotherapy services.

• A minimum of two years’ experience working in a mental health setting with a focus on children, adults, and families.
\n
• A respectful and sensitive approach to addressing diverse cultural and individual needs in therapy.

• Trained in relevant therapeutic approaches such as CBT, TF-CBT, or EMDR.

• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of diverse professionals.
\n
• Proficiency in EHR software and Microsoft Office suite.
\n
• Valid driver's license and possess car insurance.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a community health clinic or similar mental health setting.

• Specialized training or certifications in areas such as trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, or perinatal mental health.

• Experience providing telehealth services in compliance with HIPAA standards.

• Availability to work at least two evenings per week and one weekend day to accommodate client schedules.
