Accountant 3Come join the State of Alaska!The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) Program Management and Administration is looking for an Accountant 3 to help us Keep Alaska Moving!Pay is based on the location of the selected applicant; salaries will be discussed at the time of the interview.Anchorage: $2,725.50 - bi-weekly/non-overtime eligibleFairbanks: $2,807.25 - bi-weekly/non-overtime eligibleJuneau: $2,862.00 - bi-weekly/non-overtime eligibleWhat you will be doing Under the general direction of the Project Control Chief, this role offers a unique opportunity to provide expert fund programming, financial compliance, and advanced accounting support for DOT&PF capital improvement projects across Alaska. As a key member of our statewide team, you will coordinate and oversee the development, programming, tracking, and adjustment of funding for a diverse portfolio—including federal aid highway, aviation, emergency relief, reimbursable, and state-funded projects.Your work will ensure strict compliance with federal and state requirements, supporting both construction and non-construction activities throughout every stage of the project lifecycle.
