Job Summary Research Financial Services is an integral part of the research endeavor, overseeing the financial reporting and compliance requirements of all externally sponsored projects including grant and contracts. Our primary goal is to facilitate the management of sponsored funds provided to the University, in compliance with relevant guidelines, for the purpose of continuing research. We are seeking a Financial Administrator to aid in the management of a rapidly expanding research portfolio. A successful applicant will be a person who enjoys working as a team to complete core functions in a dynamic work environment. The Financial Administrator will ensure compliance with financial aspects of legal agreements between the University and the sponsoring agencies, as well as guidelines established by the federal government and the University. This successful applicant will research, identify, and correct data integrity issues, ensure timely maintenance of grant master data as it pertains to the award document, as well as complete external financial invoicing and reporting for individual sponsored projects. They will serve as a liaison between sponsors, department personnel and principal investigators to provide accurate real-time invoicing, reporting, and financial guidance. This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule upon completion of training. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience Bachelor's degree plus two or more years in grant management, financial analysis, teamwork, compliance to policy and procedure preferred.
