Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Payroll Administrator to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $30.00 to $32.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

• Process high volume payroll activities across multiple states while ensuring accuracy and timely completion.

• Maintain employee payroll records including direct deposit information tax elections deductions and compensation updates.

• Review payroll data and benefit related information to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

• Perform payroll calculations involving adjustments accruals retroactive payments and other special transactions.

• Conduct payroll audits before and after processing to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Requirements:

• Bring experience processing high volume payroll in a multi state environment.

• Demonstrate hands on experience working with ADP payroll systems and related payroll applications.

• Possess strong knowledge of payroll regulations tax withholding requirements and payroll administration practices.

• Use Excel at an advanced level including data analysis and reporting functions.

• Manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Communicate effectively with human resources teams payroll contacts and employees across the organization.

• Maintain strong attention to detail when reviewing payroll records transactions and employee data.

• Apply problem solving skills to investigate discrepancies and implement appropriate corrections.

• Build positive working relationships through professionalism responsiveness and customer service.

• Demonstrate reliability initiative and the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
