This role will be performed in a fully remote setting, allowing for flexible working conditions while focusing on the detoxification process of our clients. The LCSW will work from home, collaborating virtually with a multidisciplinary team that includes healthcare professionals and community representatives to address the needs of patients and their families. Regular video conferences, collaborative digital platforms, and electronic health record systems will be utilized to manage services and coordinate care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Identify and effectively manage resistance and conflict among clients, their families, and healthcare team members, using diplomatic intervention techniques to alleviate tension and help clients recognize and change non-productive behaviors and thought processes.

• Maintain meticulous patient records by compiling information on assessments, intervention plans, patient and family collaboration, communications with outside agencies, interdisciplinary contacts, and case closure details while adhering to social work standards and regulations.

• Apply the principles of behavior modification, assertiveness training, and supportive therapy, effectively tailoring these strategies to meet the individual needs of diverse patient populations.

• Stay current on DSM diagnostic criteria for children and adolescents, integrating this knowledge with an understanding of human development to identify and assist clients with their age-related developmental needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to assist individuals grappling with substance use disorders who are undergoing detoxification. Clients range from adolescents to adults, and they present a variety of challenges, including emotional, behavioral, and psychological complexities. The LCSW will provide crucial support in guiding these individuals and their families through the detox process and into subsequent levels of care, ensuring they receive the resources necessary for sustained recovery.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 per year, which may vary based on individual experience and caseload.
