Job Summary Midland Asphalt Materials Inc., a subsidiary of Barrett Industries Corporation, is seeking an Accounting Assistant for its Tonawanda, NY office. The full‑time, hybrid role includes accounts receivable duties and handling all incoming phone calls. Compensation is $21/hour. Main Responsibilities Manage all NY billings and ensure invoicing accuracy in JDE. Send invoices to customers promptly. Respond to and research AR inquiries from internal/external customers. Post journal entries in JDE to charge each job accurately. Archive AR documents properly. Assist with administrative tasks for estimating, operations, sales, and construction teams. Other duties as assigned by the Regional Controller. Experience and Qualifications Valid driver’s license with good driving record. Knowledge of general accounting principles/procedures. Proficiency in computer and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). Excellent time management skills. Detail-oriented and team‑oriented.
