We are looking for a Deputy Service Manager who will work a Hybrid schedule at our Windsor Locks, CT facility. In this role you will oversee the activation activities for new Line Replaceable Units (LRU) components as well as repairs and service limits at F135 Controls and Accessories (C&A) Repair locations. Activation activities include the development and execution of activation plans in collaboration with functional groups and external stakeholders. You will collaborate with functional teams such as Ground Support Equipment, Service Engineering, Oklahoma City Supplier Management and Contracts to complete repair activation projects. You will also stay current on engineering activities related to F135 Controls and Accessories designs and processes to assess, manage expectations and address the impact those changes have to repair operations. Your primary responsibilities are to ensure customer expectations and supportability goals related to the Collins C&A Components are met.

What You Will Do

• Develop and execute Repair Activation Plans to closure.
• Collaborate with a variety of internal stakeholders to ensure Repair Center capability meets customer needs
• Assess and mitigate impact of design and process changes to Repair Center operations
• Identify and evaluate future LRU (Line Replaceable Units) candidates for depot activation with the intent to maintain and improve customer supportability goals
• Manage repair activation project budgets, sales commitments, resources and milestones.
• Support proposal development and contract negotiations for future repairs.
• Identify and manage Risk and Opportunities to the sales plan and activation project execution.
• Travel up to 10%.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

• Program or product management experience

Qualifications We Prefer

• Engineering (or Operations) project management of multiple complex projects with competing priorities
• Military Program Earned Value Management (EVMS) experience.
• Customer facing experience (in particular US government)
• Manufacturing and/or repair/field operations process experience
• Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing techniques and technical requirements
• Experience in operations and production flow management including supply chain oversight

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
