More information below!Essential Functions:Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and address potential issues proactively.Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on production equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, diagnose faults, and implement effective repairs to minimize production interruptions.Collaborate with production teams to understand maintenance needs and coordinate maintenance activities during planned downtime.Install, align, and adjust machinery components to meet production requirements.Utilize hand and power tools, as well as precision measuring instruments, to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory levels.Participate in the evaluation and implementation of equipment upgrades and modifications to enhance performance.Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.Provide technical assistance and training to production personnel as needed.Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in industrial maintenance preferred.Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing setting, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience.Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.Proficient in reading technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.Familiarity with PLCs and other industrial control systems is a plus.Skills and Abilities:Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Effective communication skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Commitment to safety and adherence to OSHA guidelines.Physical Requirements/Work Environment:Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and working in various positions.Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).Exposure to industrial environments with noise, machinery, and occasional exposure to hazardous materials.Environmental Conditions:Work in a manufacturing facility with exposure to various temperatures and conditions.Use personal protective equipment as required.Drug and Smoke-Free Workplace:Applicants being considered for hire must pass a drug test before beginning work.
