Embark on a rewarding opportunity educating high school students in a vibrant setting supporting general education mathematics classes. This full-time, onsite contract role offers the chance to make a tangible difference in students' academic journeys. With two openings available, you’ll be part of a dynamic school community near Media, PA, working collaboratively with colleagues while delivering engaging instruction. You’ll teach a dedicated math caseload, focusing primarily on general education students. Some interaction with special education students may occur, but those students will receive designated support from specialized educators.

Key Qualifications:

• Active state certification or licensure appropriate for high school math
• Bachelor’s degree required in order to obtain an emergency teaching permit
• Previous school experience, especially in urban educational environments
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the work location
• Demonstrated expertise in subject matter, instructional strategies, and effective use of educational resources
• Proven ability to manage classrooms and student behavior with confidence and positivity
• Ability to work onsite, Monday–Friday, between 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM; schedule is non-negotiable
• Willingness and eligibility to complete all required PA state clearances
• Comfortable adapting to district needs and expectations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state and district requirements
• Lead instruction with a focus on differentiation and formative assessment to drive student growth
• Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure seamless support for any students receiving special education services
• Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
• Participate in ongoing professional development and school meetings
