You'll help shape decisions that elevate both patient outcomes and the future of nursing. ** This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates Job Summary and Qualifications As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Labor and Delivery (L&D) unit, you will provide leadership which facilities the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. You will utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. · You will oversee the delivery of patient care for a group of patients and direct patient are based on patient acuity and staff availability. · You will provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes and adjust nursing care processes indicated to adhere to legal, ethical and competency level of staff. · You will collaborate and consult with patients, colleagues and interdisciplinary team members to achieve desired outcomes. · You will provide education for self, staff, colleagues, patients and/or families.
