Job Responsibilities

• Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and craft individualized therapy strategies to help them meet their functional goals.
• Implement Effective Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methodologies to facilitate improvements in patients' motor abilities, cognitive skills, and everyday activities.
• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Engage with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, well-rounded care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Instruct patients and their loved ones on therapeutic practices to encourage sustained growth outside of therapy.
• Track Progress and Document Changes: Monitor patients' advancements and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure ongoing success.

Education and Certifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Encouragement for continuing education or post-graduate certifications
• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
