This position is primarily remote, allowing licensed counselors to work from the comfort of their own homes while maintaining a professional setting. However, you will also have the opportunity to work at our outpatient office in Newark, New Jersey, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team focused on comprehensive client care. This arrangement combines flexibility with hands-on support as needed.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop personalized therapy strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring the highest standards of care.

• Utilize a diverse range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy.

• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to devise and implement comprehensive care plans, ensuring a holistic approach to client well-being.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems effectively.

• Participate in ongoing professional development workshops, keeping abreast of the latest advancements in mental health research and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, particularly in clinical settings, is essential.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards related to mental health practice.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating effective rapport with diverse clients.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team, contributing to an integrated treatment approach.

• Proficiency in using EMR software and similar technologies for efficient patient management and documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

• The annual salary for this role ranges from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and client caseload.
