Position: US Accountant

Location: Remote

Job Summary We are looking for a skilled US Accountant to manage our financial operations and ensure compliance with US accounting standards. This role involves handling payroll, preparing financial reports, conducting audits, and supporting budgeting and strategic financial planning to maintain the organization's financial health.

Responsibilities

Manage payroll and oversee day-to-day accounting activities

Prepare accurate financial statements in line with US GAAP

Conduct audits to maintain financial accuracy and compliance

Manage month-end and year-end closing processes

Track and report financial performance to senior management

Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local financial regulations

Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies

Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)

Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience

Strong understanding of US GAAP and related accounting principles

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines
