Work Environment

The role is based in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center, designed to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere conducive to healing and recovery. Our clinic is equipped with the latest rehabilitation tools and technology, enabling Physical Therapists to deliver effective and efficient care. Working hours are Monday to Friday, fostering a balanced work-life environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of personalized physical therapy treatment plans that focus on alleviating pain, restoring function, and enhancing client independence.
• Conduct thorough assessments using diagnostic tests to evaluate muscle, nerve, and joint function, and adjust treatment protocols based on ongoing evaluations.
• Provide direct patient care, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and the use of physical agents for pain management.
• Oversee and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring therapeutic interventions align with established care plans and best practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during case conferences to share insights and best practices for comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress meticulously through clinical records, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Regularly communicate with physicians, case managers, and clients' families to discuss treatment outcomes and adjustments needed in care plans.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and stay updated with current evidence-based practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice provides care to a diverse population ranging from individuals recovering from sports injuries to those rehabilitating after surgeries or managing chronic conditions. We prioritize creating individualized treatment plans that respect and incorporate the unique circumstances of each client, paying particular attention to their home environment to enhance rehabilitation success.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
• A valid Physical Therapist licensure in the state of New Jersey.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while taking initiative in patient care.
• A passion for advancing clinical excellence, integrity, and patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of practice as a Physical Therapist, ideally in acute care or outpatient settings.
• Experience in evaluating prosthetic and orthotic needs, as well as a background in community resource utilization.
• A familiarity with the use of electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation processes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education.
