Work Environment\n

This position allows for a remote work setting, providing flexibility while enabling you to engage directly with clients receiving detox services. While the majority of your responsibilities can be handled from home, occasional visits to the detox facility may be required to engage with clients in person during critical phases of their treatment. You will be supported by a collaborative team of professionals dedicated to improving client outcomes through integrated services and evidence-based practices.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough client assessments to identify social, emotional, and environmental challenges affecting individuals in detox programs.

• Design and implement personalized service plans that set clear goals and outline interventions, adapting them as necessary based on client progress.

• Provide individual and family counseling tailored to the unique needs of clients in recovery from substance use disorders.

• Actively collaborate with clients to develop actionable plans that connect them with community resources, support groups, and additional services.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention, risk assessments, and safety planning to ensure the well-being of clients during their treatment.

• Forge partnerships with community organizations and agencies to coordinate comprehensive support services and advocate for client needs.

• Engage in community outreach and awareness initiatives to promote the agency's services and support networks.

• Participate in regular case conferences, team meetings, and professional development training to maintain a high standard of care and contribute to team collaboration.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals undergoing detoxification from substance abuse, many of whom are facing significant life challenges, including co-occurring mental health disorders, trauma histories, and socioeconomic barriers. Your empathetic approach and expertise will help empower these clients to rebuild their lives and achieve lasting recovery, while fostering resilience and independence.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State.

Compensation and Benefits\n
