Position Summary Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, the Senior Accountant will play an integral role on a collaborative accounting team, supporting the monthly financial close while taking ownership of work-in-process (WIP) accounting, inventory accounting, and related cost accounting responsibilities. This is a broad, hands‑on position that offers exposure to many aspects of the business. You’ll partner closely with operations, purchasing, and production leaders, giving you the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of the company’s manufacturing operations while expanding your accounting expertise. Key Responsibilities Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process. Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Own the accounting for inventory, work-in-process (WIP), and related manufacturing transactions. Analyze inventory activity, variances, and inventory reserves. Support cost accounting processes, product costing, and manufacturing reporting. Partner with operations and production leadership to improve inventory accuracy and financial reporting. Assist with financial statement preparation and management reporting. Support annual audits and provide requested documentation. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and strengthen internal controls. Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as the organization continues to grow. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required. Minimum of 3 years of progressive, full-cycle accounting experience. Experience working within a small to mid‑sized organization preferred. Manufacturing, inventory accounting, or cost accounting experience is highly preferred but not required. Public accounting experience is highly preferred. Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and the month‑end close process. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
