Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a diverse caseload of clients, developing strong therapeutic relationships while adhering to professional ethics and setting appropriate boundaries.

• Conduct regular sessions to assess client progress, address challenges, and discuss potential discharge planning when appropriate.

• Create, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that reflect each client’s unique needs and goals, ensuring a person-centered approach.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and treatment updates, to support effective case management.
\n
• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate new clients, establishing a clear understanding of their mental health status and treatment needs.

• Engage in weekly individual therapy sessions, providing targeted interventions that foster client growth and therapeutic benefits.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Participate in individual supervision for professional development and ensure alignment with best practices in counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse clientele encompassing adults, children, and families who present with a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.

• Current, unrestricted, active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure in New Jersey.

• At least one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting is necessary for this role.

• Proficiency in using technology, including familiarity with RMS systems, Excel spreadsheets, Outlook, and PIMSY software for effective case management.

• Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families, encompassing a variety of therapeutic techniques.

• Comfort and competence in conducting intake assessments with new clients, establishing rapport quickly and empathetically.
