Discover an impactful opportunity for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist Assistant looking to help students achieve their full communication potential during the 2026-2027 school year. This contract role will be located near Pelham, AL, providing meaningful, on-site support across various school settings. Successful candidates will be assigned to specific sites based on needs, working with diverse caseloads to help students thrive academically and socially.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Holds current Alabama SLPA certification and ABSESPA licensure
- Possesses valid Professional Educator Certification
- ASHA certification required
- Must meet Alabama-specific requirements for SLPAs, including fingerprinting and any additional mandated licensure
- Prior experience in school settings is highly desirable
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students, following individualized education plans under the supervision of certified Speech Language Pathologists
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress
- Document sessions, monitor student development, and support data-driven interventions
- Adapt speech therapy techniques for diverse learning needs and environments
- Attend staff meetings, IEP reviews, and ongoing professional development, as required
