Lead Line Cook/Kitchen Manager
Uvae Kitchen & Wine Bar | Chicago
Uvae Kitchen & Wine Bar is seeking a strong, experienced Lead Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This is a full-time position for a dependable culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and can lead by example during service.
Pay:
$25 per hour
Schedule:
Full-time evening availability required
Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday PM
Position Requirements:
- High-volume line experience required
- Previous kitchen management or shift lead experience required
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work cleanly, efficiently, and with urgency during busy service
- Butcher experience required
- Pastry experience required
- Prep experience required
- Must be reliable, organized, and team-oriented
What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate is a skilled cook with leadership experience who can confidently run a station, support the team, maintain standards, and contribute across multiple areas of the kitchen. This role is best suited for someone who is passionate about hospitality, takes pride in execution, and understands the importance of consistency, teamwork, and professionalism.
