Our client is currently seeking a qualified Desktop Support Technician to join their team onsite in Latham, NY and provide end-user support. The ideal candidate is dependable and presentable, the face of the IT department. This is a 3-month contract with the possibility of quarterly extensions.Duties and Responsibilities:Troubleshoot hardware, software, wireless, and connectivity issuesImage machinesPerform standard hardware replacementSkills and Qualifications:Minimum 3 to 5+ years of experienceBasic network backgroundProficient in Win11, laptops, and desktopsBasic Apple knowledgeSupporting manufacturing division and salesStrong customer soft skillsCertifications are preferred, but not requiredManufacturing experience is highly desired and ability to work with toolsWage Range: The rate for this position is between $24.00 - $32.00 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
