Desktop Support Technician

Deskside Support Role
Support location: 1 Research Circle, Bldg, #K1, Niskayuna, NY 12309. Hybrid role: M-F 8AM-5PM (work from home Mondays and Fridays; onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays). No on-call.
Top 3 required skills: Deskside IT Support, white glove customer service & Troubleshooting Dell & Mac laptops and iOS & Android mobile phones.
Experience: 3 years min. A+ certification and/or networking experience is a plus. Ability to setup, configure and add all hardware. Assure that all tickets requiring follow up work and/or calls receive appropriate attention. Comfortable with face-to-face interactions as will be required to provide technical support to end users in-person at the customer's site. Assist Site Leader in the execution of established processes and escalations. Experience working in enterprise environment. Be physically able to lift up to 40lbs, bend, crawl, and Client in order to support customer computer systems Breakdown, move and setup end users PCs and peripherals. Maintain, analyze, and troubleshoot, software and computer peripherals. Ability to setup, configure and add all hardware. Back up and burn end user data. Be able to be on feet and physically walk potentially a good portion of the day while visiting customers work area
