SEO Specialist

We are looking for a motivated and organized SEO Specialist to work alongside our Head of SEO and support the execution of SEO/GEO initiatives across multiple consumer-focused products.

This is a hands-on role where the majority of the overall SEO and GEO strategy will be prepared by the Head of SEO, while you will be responsible for executing that strategy across approximately seven different websites. You will collaborate with developers, copywriters, designers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure SEO and GEO initiatives are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

Each product has its own Product Owner and dedicated development team, so strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential. Beyond execution, you'll also have the opportunity to contribute your own ideas, recommendations, and strategic initiatives as you grow within the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute SEO initiatives and projects across multiple websites following the overall strategy defined by the Head of SEO.
• Perform keyword research to identify new growth opportunities across various products.
• Prepare SEO implementation tickets and collaborate with developers throughout implementation.
• Monitor implementation progress and ensure SEO recommendations are delivered correctly.
• Support GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) efforts, helping structure content and data so it is more easily surfaced and cited by LLMs.

• Prepare detailed SEO content briefs for copywriters.
• Work closely with copywriters throughout the content creation process.
• Review completed content for SEO quality and accuracy.
• Coordinate with developers to publish SEO-optimized content.

• Perform regular technical SEO audits.
• Identify technical issues affecting organic performance.
• Work with developers to resolve crawlability, indexation, internal linking, metadata, structured data, and other technical SEO issues.
• Monitor website health using industry-standard SEO tools.

• Prepare monthly SEO reports for each website.
• Monitor rankings, organic traffic, indexation, and other key SEO KPIs.
• Track GEO performance where relevant, including brand visibility, mentions, and referral traffic from AI.
• Analyze competitors and identify growth opportunities.

• Work simultaneously across multiple products with separate Product Owners and development teams.
• Prioritize SEO tasks across different websites and projects.
• Communicate effectively with developers, copywriters, designers, and stakeholders.
• Proactively suggest new SEO and GEO opportunities and improvements to existing strategies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional SEO experience.
• Experience managing SEO across multiple websites or products.
• Experience working with developers and content teams.
• Solid understanding of technical SEO, on-page SEO, and content optimization.
• Working knowledge of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and how it relates to, and differs from, traditional SEO.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency with AI tools such as Claude. This is a must-have for the role, used daily to speed up keyword research, content briefs, technical audits, and reporting.
• Strong proficiency with Ahrefs.
• Strong proficiency with Screaming Frog.
• Experience using Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
• Experience conducting keyword research and competitor analysis.

Location

Ruby Labs operates within the CET (Central European Time) zone. Applicants from any country are welcome to apply for the position as long as they are located within approximately ± 4 hours of CET. This ensures optimal collaboration and communication during working hours.
