Drive and manage Lear torque standards across all North America plants. ResponsibilitiesEXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED (The following duties are typical for this classification.)Audit/Track torque strategy across all NA plants in compliance with standardSubject matter expert on all types of fasteners, threaded fastener, rivetsDrive innovations with fastening technology and automationFastening equipment hardware selectionMES data acquisition settings tracking and change request trackingLear torque standards updating and progressionLaunch support, production support as issues arises with fasteningMeetings with customer on reviewing requirements, and production issuesSupport the plants while working with corporate fastening engineers on new productLeading torque training across plants to develop competence in all plants and supportEducation RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in a related fieldExperience Requirements8+ years of fastener engineering experienceKnowledge of manufacture processes and ToolingStrong knowledge of MS Office – especially ExcelEqual Opportunity EmployerLear Corporation is committed to fair, merit‑based employment practices and equal opportunity.We provide reasonable accommodations in accordance with applicable law.
