REHAB MANAGER

Rehabilitation Services Manager

Under the general supervision of the Director of Rehabilitation Services, is responsible for the direction, supervision and coordination of Physical and Occupational Therapy services/staff. Provides direct patient care as necessary.

Compensation Pay Range: $130,600.00 - $189,400.00

Essential Functions:

• Oversees daily operations of the Rehab Department in the manager's respective area
• Assists in development, implementation, and evaluation of therapy programs which are consistent with the Health System's mission and the department's goals and objectives.
• Demonstrates accountability for the quality of clinical services provided, as evidenced by accurate completion of documentation and charge capture.
• Collaborates with other departments to ensure optimal patient care.
• Provides direct care to patients when necessary.
• Demonstrates personal professional development.
• Promotes the on-going education of rehabilitation staff as well as other healthcare providers.
• Works cooperatively with fellow employees to identify real/potential problems and to promote solutions.
• Is responsible for department's operational excellence; assures department delivers quality services in accordance with the Health System and professional standards.
• Works in collaboration with human resources to promote positive employee relations.
• Is responsible for the fiscal management of specific area(s) within the department and assures proper utilization of organization's financial resources.
• Effectively communicates departmental, organization and industry information to staff.
• Safety Awareness Fosters a "Culture of Safety" through personal ownership and commitment to a safe environment.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Education - Required: BS or MS in Occupational Therapy; or BS, MS or DPT in Physical Therapy; or MS in Speech Language Pathology from accredited school required.
• Minimum Work Experience: Five (5) years of therapy experience, with at least three (3) years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Required Licenses / Registrations: Current MA license in PT or OT or SLP - Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathology
• Required Classes/Skills: BLS - Basic Life Support
