Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

With a flexible, part-time schedule and two welcoming middle schools as your primary sites, you'll create meaningful connections in the Washington DC area, just south of the city. This school year contract lets you work close to home or balance your schedule with other professional pursuits.

Your focus will include providing direct therapy and consultative services, supporting a caseload of 25 students ranging from those requiring hands-on interventions to students benefitting from expert guidance. As the academic year unfolds, you may also conduct evaluations to further support student needs. The majority of your time will be spent across two engaging middle schools, and there is potential for limited involvement at a nearby elementary location.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid and active Occupational Therapist license in Virginia
• School-based OT experience or passion for pediatric populations
• Ability to initiate credentialing processes, including a VA Dept. of Social Services background check and TB test
• Strong collaboration, communication, and consultative skills
• Comfortable adapting to flexible, part-time hours

What You'll Do:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to approximately 10 students
• Consult and collaborate with school staff and families for an additional 15 students
• Complete evaluations and maintain necessary documentation as needed
• Partner with educators and the district’s Lead OT to support diverse student needs
• Participate in interviews with school leadership and fellow therapists
