Starting Pay: $24.51 per Hour
Schedule: Three 12-Hour Overnight Shifts per Week

Position Summary

Bridor USA is hiring experienced Production Machine Operators to support the continued expansion of our industrial bakery manufacturing facility in Vineland, New Jersey.

Production Machine Operators are responsible for safely setting up, operating, and monitoring production equipment; performing adjustments and basic troubleshooting; maintaining product quality; and accurately documenting production activity using computer-based systems.

This is not an entry-level position. Candidates must have previous hands-on experience operating production machinery in a manufacturing environment. Food or beverage manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.

Available Overnight Schedules

Candidates must be available to work one of the following fixed schedules:

• Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday | 4:45 p.m.–5:00 a.m.
• Thursday, Friday, and Saturday | 4:45 p.m.–5:00 a.m.

Candidates must work the complete assigned schedule and be flexible to support other shifts when business needs require.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely set up, calibrate, and operate production machinery
• Perform equipment start-ups, adjustments, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting
• Monitor equipment and production processes to ensure quality, consistency, and performance expectations are met
• Identify and communicate equipment or production issues to leadership and Maintenance
• Enter production information, track production runs, document downtime, and complete digital forms
• Accurately measure, weigh, prepare, mix, and blend ingredients according to established formulas and specifications
• Ensure products meet company food-safety, quality, and production standards
• Follow all safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, food-safety, and sanitation procedures
• Use ERP or MRP systems to support inventory tracking, production scheduling, and workflow accuracy
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Sanitation, and Maintenance teams

Required Qualifications

• Previous hands-on experience operating production machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Experience setting up, adjusting, monitoring, and troubleshooting production equipment
• Strong computer skills and the ability to navigate production software, enter information accurately, and complete digital documentation
• Ability to troubleshoot routine mechanical and operational issues
• Experience measuring, weighing, mixing, blending, batching, or preparing ingredients
• Understanding of manufacturing safety, product-quality, and Good Manufacturing Practice requirements
• Ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and stand for extended periods
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
• Availability to work one of the required overnight schedules
• Flexibility to work other shifts when business needs require

Applicants without directly related machine-operating or manufacturing experience will not be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

• Machine-operator experience in food, bakery, or beverage manufacturing
• Experience operating automated or high-speed production equipment
• Familiarity with food-safety and quality-assurance practices
• Experience using ERP or MRP systems
• SAP experience

Work Environment

This position works in a fast-paced industrial bakery manufacturing environment. Production Machine Operators must be able to work safely around operating equipment, ingredients, allergens, varying temperatures, and other conditions associated with food production.

The position requires standing for extended periods and performing repetitive movements, bending, reaching, lifting, and other physical activities necessary to operate production equipment safely.

Compensation

• Starting pay of $24.51 per hour
