Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active or pending South Carolina Special Education certification
• Prior experience in a resource or inclusion classroom environment is highly valued
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially when partnering with general educators and support staff
• Demonstrated ability to provide effective academic and behavioral support to elementary-aged students
• Passion for fostering an inclusive and positive learning atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized academic support in reading, math, and essential content areas
• Design instruction based on students' IEP goals and adapt methods to help every learner thrive
• Collaborate closely with teachers and service providers to promote student growth and achievement
• Monitor student progress, maintaining detailed records and compliance documentation
• Play an active role in IEP meetings, providing valuable insights to guide student plans
• Ensure students feel supported in both specialized small-group sessions and general education classrooms through co-teaching and consultation
