Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

In this role, you’ll make a difference each day by delivering individualized instruction based on students’ IEP goals. Utilize your expertise to provide targeted interventions in reading, math, and other fundamental subjects, tailoring support to meet unique learning needs. You will split your time between push-in support within general education classrooms and pull-out resource sessions, allowing you to foster student growth and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver academic support in reading, math, and additional core subjects in accordance with IEPs
• Design, adapt, and implement evidence-based instructional strategies
• Collaborate closely with general education educators and other specialists to maximize student success
• Monitor student progress, manage case documentation, and uphold compliance standards
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing insight and advocacy for student achievement

Desired Qualifications:

• Active or pending South Carolina Special Education certification is required
• Strong experience in resource or inclusion settings is preferred
• Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to communicate effectively with staff and families
• Commitment to supporting students academically and behaviorally in a high school environment
