Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

In this full-time, school-based contract role, you’ll work closely with high school students to provide essential academic support and foster their success in both push-in and pull-out resource settings. Key Qualifications:

• Possession of valid (pending or active) South Carolina certification in Special Education
• Demonstrated experience in a resource or inclusion environment preferred
• Strong collaborative spirit with proven instructional skills
• Comfortable supporting students academically and behaviorally, particularly at the high school level

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted resource instruction in vital subjects including reading and mathematics
• Create and implement lessons that align with each student’s IEP goals
• Offer classroom support in general education settings through co-teaching and consulting with colleagues
• Consistently monitor student progress, maintaining detailed and accurate documentation
• Cooperate with general education teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure comprehensive student support
• Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings, contributing to compliance and accurate reporting
