Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

In this role, you’ll provide targeted instruction to students, primarily in resource settings, using both push-in and pull-out models. You’ll foster academic growth, encourage engagement, and support the achievement of IEP goals for learners with diverse needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Current or pending South Carolina Special Education Teacher certification
• Previous experience in resource or inclusion classrooms preferred
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with teaching teams and support personnel
• Strong skills in delivering differentiated instruction
• Comfort with supporting high school students academically and behaviorally

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted instruction in reading, math, and core subjects to students receiving resource services
• Develop individualized learning plans and adapt curriculum in alignment with IEPs
• Monitor students’ academic progress and maintain thorough documentation
• Partner with general education teachers to deliver co-taught lessons and effective accommodations
• Contribute actively to IEP meetings, ensuring compliance and strong communication with families and professionals
