Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients to identify needs and formulate individualized treatment strategies.

• Play an active role in the development and implementation of Individualized Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring alignment with each patient and family’s unique circumstances.

• Monitor clinical progress regularly, adjusting interventions as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

• Utilize evidence-based practices and the Natural Learning Environment framework to enhance learning experiences for patients.
\n
• Provide guidance and support to families, offering essential resources and skills that enhance their understanding of treatment processes and support for their loved ones.

• Build strong therapeutic relationships with children and families to foster trust and a healthy learning environment.

• Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations governing clinical practice and patient care.

• Directly support children in early intervention initiatives aimed at promoting development in physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay abreast of best practices and innovations in therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on providing critical support to children with disabilities or developmental delays, particularly in their early years. Our work involves a keen focus on helping these children and their families navigate the challenges associated with substance use recovery, ensuring they have the tools and support they need to thrive. The LCSW will apply trauma-informed care strategies to engage effectively with patients, understanding their unique histories and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) or Doctorate in Social Work (DSW) is required.
