Accounting Clerk - Automotive Industry

Location: Birmingham Alabama | Salary: $60,000 - $70,000

Come join our team! Searching for an Accounting Clerk with 2 - 3 years of experience. Working closely with other team members, you will be an integral part of our organization. You will track and post receivables and payables to the appropriate accounts and collect receivables from vendors. This position will require excellent organizational skills and accuracy. Confidentiality is a must. The applicant should be good in customer relations, a skilled multi-tasker, reliable and committed to meeting deadlines. Position requires daily input of payables including collecting invoices and matching them to purchase orders.

Responsibilities

• Post payables and receivables to the correct accounts
• Collect Receivables from vendors
• Work closely with other Team Members

Qualifications

• Previous Automotive Experience is a Huge Plus - but not required
• Team player attitude
• Prompt and courteous
• Enthusiastic personality
• Must have strong computer skills
• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, or similar
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen
