Accounts Receivable Specialist

Position Overview / Responsibilities Manage and apply checks and ACH deposits efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Conduct outbound collection calls and follow up with customers on past‑due balances to maintain healthy cash flow. Match contract paperwork, purchase orders, and invoices, ensuring all documents align correctly. Handle customer inquiries regarding payments and provide data on collections received. Maintain organized records by procuring, filing, copying, and scanning documents as needed. Required Skills Proficiency in using Word, Excel, and other essential computer programs. Strong communication skills, with the ability to make frequent phone calls and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience with AR systems or tools, such as ERP or accounting software. Ability to work onsite in Birmingham, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Comfortable working in a tight‑knit, casual, and family‑oriented office environment. What's in it for you?
