BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE

Responsibilities BHC Alhambra Hospital Business Development Representative We are looking for a caring, compassionate, hardworking individual to join our team at BHC Alhambra Hospital located in Rosemead, California. BHC Alhambra Hospital is a 115-bed facility founded in 1924 that provides quality behavioral health, substance abuse, and eating disorder treatment in inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient settings for the San Gabriel Valley, Los Angeles County, and surrounding areas. The Business Development Representative will implement the philosophy, policy, procedures, systems and strategic goals set forth by senior management to develop new business relationships and maximize referrals from existing accounts in order to achieve hospital growth. Key Responsibilities Knowledge of business development, sales, and marketing concepts. Knowledge of key internal/externa, healthcare environments. Basic knowledge of computers and software programs, such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Demonstrate above average problem solving and analytical skills. Demonstrate superior sales skills: active listening, rapport building and objection management. Highly effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to speak one-on-one and in groups. Ability to interpret and communciate data from statistical reports. Ability to quickly learn and communicate all hospital treatments and services we offer. Ability to use good judgement and to maintain confidentiality of information. Experience Minimum of three to five (3-5) years experience in health care business development/marketing environment with measurable business development results, and a knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles, preferred.
