AEM DeveloperLocation: BostonOnsite Requirements: 3 days onsite (Hybrid)Duration: 6-10 monthsJob Description5+ years of experience at minimum with AEM Development.While this is primarily a backend role, the candidate must have some front-end experience for when needed.Local to Boston and has strong interpersonal, communication (written and oral), and analytical skills.This individual must be team-oriented and deadline driven.Financial services experience is a plus but not required.Technical RequirementsStrong proficiency in Java and J2EE, including frameworks such as Spring and HibernateHands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including:AEM component, template, and dialog developmentApache Sling framework for request-to-resource mappingOSGi for modular bundle developmentJCR (Apache Jackrabbit Oak) for content repository managementHTL (Sightly) for AEM templatingAEM workflows for content automationDispatcher configuration for caching and load balancingExperience developing and consuming RESTful APIs for third-party integrationsFamiliarity with content authoring, versioning, publishing, and AEM upgrades/maintenanceFrontend & IntegrationWorking knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to support backend-to-frontend integrationDevOps & DeploymentProficiency with Git or other version control systemsExperience using Maven or Gradle for AEM buildsExposure to CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps)Familiarity with Adobe Experience CloudAdditional / Preferred SkillsIntegration experience with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, or Adobe CampaignSearch platform experience (Solr, Elasticsearch)Knowledge of AEM personalization and targeting capabilitiesSoft SkillsStrong collaboration skills across developers, designers, and content authorsAbility to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersEffective time management in a fast-paced environment
