Sterilization Technician – Oral SurgeryThis is an in-office position at Center for Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and Dental Implants located at 7007 Old Sauk Road, Madison, WI 53717.At our practice, patient safety and quality care are at the heart of everything we do. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sterilization Technician who is passionate about maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness. Sterilization Technicians are essential to our operations—serving as the frontline defense by ensuring all instruments and equipment meet strict sterilization standards. If you are someone who thrives in a meticulous, hands-on environment and is motivated by keeping others safe, we'd love you to join our team!Role and ResponsibilitiesCollects used and contaminated equipment, instruments, and supplies for sorting and decontamination.Manually cleans supplies of contaminants.Operates and maintains decontamination equipment.Prepares and packages decontaminated supplies for sterilization.Exams supplies meticulously to ensure they are properly cleaned and sanitized.Routinely tests and reports any issues or problems with sterilization equipment.Sterilizes, preps, wraps, and organizes equipment into instruments trays for using during medical procedures.Prepares and delivers all necessary equipment and instruments for procedures.Maintains records of sterilization procedures, sterilized items, equipment maintenance and supplies.Monitors inventory and supplies.Performs other related duties as assigned.Education and ExperienceHigh School diploma or equivalent required.One year of relevant experience preferred.Certification in Sterile Processing and Distribution preferred.Skills and AbilitiesStrong attention to detail, vigilance, and meticulous care on job.Passion for keeping people safe.Good judgement and critical thinking skills.Manual dexterity and ability to handle fragile equipment.Technical skills and familiarity with sterilization techniques.Ability to work well in a team or individually.What We OfferCompetitive Pay, Bonus potential, and Annual Merit ReviewsPaid Time Off401k Plan w/Company MatchHealth Savings Account (HSA) with HDHP health plansMedical (including Virtual Care), Dental and Vision CoverageBasic and Supplemental Life InsuranceShort & Long-Term DisabilityEmployee Assistance ProgramBLS/CPR CertificationCareer Path Advancement to Clinical or Management positionsNational Discount and Rewards MarketplaceParadigm Oral Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
